Lords Taverners Table Cricket Finals Day

March 21, 2024

Wednesday 20th March saw us run our 3rd consecutive Lords Taverners Table Cricket Finals at Loddon Valley. We had 7 schools from across the county take part in the competition with the winner going on to represent Berkshire in the regional competition at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in April.

The day started with each team playing in a group stage with the 4 best placed teams going through to the knockout rounds. Some terrific Table Cricket was played throughout, with plenty of smiles on everyone’s faces. The final saw Langley Grammar defeat Kennet School in a high-quality game meaning they progress to the next round.

A huge well done to every player that took part. It was a brilliant day that saw each game played in terrific spirit. A massive thank you must also go to students at Maiden Erlegh School who made terrific young leaders, helping to add to the positive experience of everyone involved.

Schools wanting to get involved with Table Cricket can contact our disability officer Chris Baker who will be able to provide more information.
