The South East Shires Cricket League operates throughout a large area to the west and to the north of London; an area covering Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey and Middlesex. There are nearly 30 Berkshire based teams currently taking part, largely drawn from Slough and Reading. The league was formed in 1982 and has steadily grown to now comprising 8 Divisions.

Berkshire Cricket have worked closely alongside SESCL over the last few years on number of areas, including umpiring and coach education, Play-Cricket support and even working alongside Get Berkshire Active to provide funding for match balls.
