I am really looking forward to meeting a lot of you as the success of the Women and Girls teams in this County is something which is important to me. We have lots of exciting things to come in terms of Women and Girls Cricket this summer and throughout the year. One aspect of this is the Softball element, which is growing rapidly through the country, we want to keep this momentum up and really push for more involvement in the game.
With that in mind I am looking into organizing a Pre-season Softball tournament! During this tournament I would like your permission to video/photograph some of that sizzling atmosphere we see at these softball events and really capture the spirit of the game to showcase it to the wider public on platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter & Facebook. Another topic which requires some focus is supporting Team Captains in their journey of Leadership, during the season we hope to launch some training days in clubs near you to help you become a confident Captain, hopefully with some special guests.
