Over the February half-term break, Berkshire Cricket once again teamed up with Reading School to deliver holiday camp sessions to both community and Reading School children.
Tuesday to Friday this week has been filled with plenty of fun cricket and multi-sport activities as our coaches have delivered sessions to over 75 different children.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning, children from a network of Primary Schools in the area were invited to attend free sessions. Across these mornings they focused on their batting, bowling and fielding, whilst also enjoying other multi-sport opportunities – playing football and spending time in Reading School’s in-house gym.
Our coaches also delivered sessions to some of Reading School’s own pupils, as keen cricketers in Year 7 & 8 were able to test their skills in indoor matches.
We look forward to running more successful holiday programmes like this in the future and thank Reading School for their continued good work in the community.
