Ava Lee Selected for England U19’s Tri-Series Tour

March 8, 2024
Ava Lee has been named in England Women’s U19 squad to tour Sri Lanka. The tri series which also features Australia will consist of both T20 and 50 – over matches and will be played from late March to early April.
Ava has played all her county cricket with Berkshire and enjoyed a successful first season as a Vipers academy player being handed a winter training contract allowing her time to train in a professional environment with the senior squad at Utilita Bowl. Ava played a huge part in securing a Rachael Hey-hoe Flint trophy for the Vipers claiming 10 wickets with a best of 2-33 in the competition.
‘As a county we are delighted to see Ava’s England U19 selection on the tour to Sri Lanka. It has been fantastic to see Ava’s cricket develop over the last few years culminating in her selection with the Southern Vipers and now England. Her selection is richly deserved, and I know that everyone involved in supporting Ava’s journey so far will be watching on as she showcases her skills in Sri Lanka’
