2025 Table Cricket County Finals

March 26, 2025
Our annual Table Cricket County final took place on Wednesday 26th March at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre. Six schools battled it out for the trophy and the chance to represent Berkshire in the regional finals at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in late April.
In the morning, there was a round robin group stage to determine who would go through to the final.  There was some amazing teamwork and skill on show as the teams tried their hardest to make it through.
After lunch, Kennet and The Avenue took centre stage to see who would be crowned champions Kennet came out as eventual winners in what proved to be a magnificent final. In true Table Cricket fashion the match was played in fantastic sprits with all players giving their all.
“As with previous years, this year’s final was a huge success and each player that attended should be proud of their efforts. Seeing how much enjoyment table cricket brings to everyone is why it’s such an amazing game” Chris Baker Disability Officer.
Table cricket is an adapted version of cricket that is played on a table tennis table and has been specially designed to give young people with a disability the chance to play and compete in the sport.
