Play Seniors Cricket this Summer
Berkshire Seniors are on the lookout for new players for 2025. We run over 50s sides playing Wednesdays , three over 60s sides playing Tuesdays, and an over 70s side on Thursdays.
We play competitive cricket in the national county system. So, why not spend one afternoon a week this Summer enjoying cricket the way it should be played, and whilst the rest of the world is working!
We are especially keen to boost our over 60s squads for the new season. Our players are drawn from a wide range of clubs, both big and small from across Berkshire, and with three teams we would welcome new players of all standards. Please forward this article to any of your club members you think may be interested.
Pictured above are our +60s 2nd XI stepping out for a chilly pre-season game last April at Welford Park CC and our Berkshire +60s squad the year before, after winning the hugely enjoyable Malta Seniors Tournament (with the traditional county flag of Berkshire flying proud).
It may not be obvious, but this organised regular midweek team sport can provide a hugely enjoyable new playing environment as part of the transition from a full time working lifestyle.
Please contact Bill Green for a chat 07976 341578 and maybe come along to our over 60s indoor nets at the Piggott School Twyford 10am -11.30am each Sunday morning throughout April to say hello and join in.
