The first day of the Easter holidays saw the annual Berkshire Chance to Shine Street Cricket Finals with teams from across the counties 6 Youth street projects coming together to fight it out for a place in the regional finals in May half term.
It was as always a closely run set of competitions with our Herschel & Chalvey (Slough & Eton) projects reaching the U12 final and Palmer Park (Reading) and Chalvey (slough & Eton the U15 final.
Herschel took out the U12 title with a 1 run win in the final and Chalvey secured the U15 victory with a comfortable success.
All the finalists will move on to represent Berkshire in the regional Chance to Shine Street Finals with a place in the National finals in Nottingham up for grabs for the winners.
