The Berkshire Cricket Team kicked off the summer term with a team day run by Berkshire Banshees Wheelchair Rugby and their brilliant Coach Craig Hunter. The session allowed the team to experience the game of wheelchair rugby and test themselves out in some competitive games and practices, ahead of what promises to be another hugely busy and exciting summer of cricket across Berkshire.
It was also great to welcome along new Participation coaches Penelope Gwynne and Becky Hartnett for their first day with the team. Both Penelope and Becky will be delivering across our schools and community projects all over the county and its great to have them on board and helping to continue to grow the game across the grass roots as we continue to strive towards our target of More Cricket for More People in More Places
