This Saturday, March 8th, we join the world in celebrating International Women’s Day, a global movement for gender equality and empowerment. This year’s theme, #AccelerateAction, urges us to take swift and decisive steps towards achieving gender equality, urging us all to increase momentum in breaking down the systemic barriers and biases that women face both in personal and professional spheres.
At Berkshire Cricket, we are deeply committed to ensuring that women and girls have a variety of opportunities to participate in cricket. From our All Stars Programs to the Talent pathways, we work tirelessly to create an inclusive environment for women in our community.

We’re thrilled to announce some fantastic upcoming events designed to support women in cricket our first ever Women’s Softball Workshop (16th of March) is fast approaching and will host over 50 attendees preparing for the summer season at their clubs. It’s a fantastic opportunity for women and girls to enhance their skills and come together to grow the sport in the region.
The Women’s Softball World Cup (June 22nd) – The highly successful Women’s Softball World Cup is making a return this year! After last year’s success, we’re aiming to make this year even bigger and better. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event.
