Lords Taverners Cricket Kit Recycling Centre Visit

March 22, 2024

On Wednesday 20th March, Berkshire Cricket – along with neighbours Oxfordshire Cricket – made the trip to Ipswich to pick up a donation from the Lords Taverners Cricket Kit Recycling Centre.

Ally Darlow, Hammad Ali and Nick Holroyd enjoyed a fantastic day in Ipswich, picking up plenty of equipment including several pairs of hardball pads and gloves; bags of tennis balls and cricket balls; new kit bags for coaches & England branded clothing.

We’re really looking forward to distributing this kit to the right people and ensuring the donation has the maximum possible impact throughout Berkshire in the short, medium and long term.

A massive thank you has to go out to Lords Taverners, particularly to David Pemperton for helping to organise the day and making the trip as seamless as possible, alongside his colleagues Henry and India. Thanks also goes to Martin Darlow, Lords Taverners Interim Project Director, for his help in setting up the visit and making Berkshire aware of this fantastic free opportunity.

If any other counties or cricket clubs are interested in receiving a donation from Lords Taverners, you can contact Martin on [email protected].
