Boys Talent Pathway

Boys U13 to U18 Pathway Application Process is now open – U13 and above (School Year 8 or above in  September 2025)

Entries can be submitted now and until 31 July.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the Berkshire Cricket Pathway you need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Go to a school within Berkshire
• Live in Berkshire
• Play for a Berkshire club
• Have been referred directly by the Head of Talent Pathway at a First-Class County

Your child’s participation in the Berkshire Cricket Talent Pathway may go against allowances on your VISA regulations. The Talent Pathway counts as a semi-professional organisation and to participate you must have the correct documentation.

Some VISA’s have stipulations that don’t allow dependants to be part of professional/semi-professional pathways.

Any false information given will breach regulations, so please check your documentation if born outside of the UK.

APPLICATION PROCESS – U13-U18 BOYS

You (the player) can submit video content and contact details to Berkshire Cricket, for review by coaches, demonstrating skills as a batter, bowler, or wicket keeper.

• Player First Name, Surname and Date of Birth along with the WhatsApp videos

Your videos will be reviewed by our Talent Pathway coaches shortly after the submission deadline. Berkshire Cricket will then host some observation days in late August/September – more details to follow.

All Berkshire Cricket staff reviewing submissions are DBS checked and safeguarding trained. All data and video content submitted will be stored and/or processed on Berkshire Cricket password secure locations. Please see our Privacy Policy for further details.
