NEW COURSES LIVE FOR 2026

Berkshire Cricket is excited to announce a series of practical workshops designed to upskill club members, including grounds staff, in preparation for the 2026 summer season.

These workshops aim to support clubs both in the lead-up to and throughout the season, providing hands-on guidance and practical learning opportunities. Delivered by Berkshire Cricket’s County Pitch Advisors, all sessions are completely free to attend and will run for approximately 2–3 hours.

Each workshop will focus on practical skills and best practice, helping clubs enhance the quality and sustainability of their pitches and facilities.

Sunday 29th March – 10am-12.30pm 
Content will include: Rolling and Squaring, Outfield Preparation and Fertiliser treatments

2.Pitch Preparation / Recovery Course – Datchet Cricket Club
Wednesday 3rd June – 6-9pm
Content will include: Mowing, Scarifying, Repairing bowlers foot holes, reseeding pitches for re-use

3. End of Season Course – Wellington College 
Wednesday 29th July-  6-8.30pm 
Content will include: Scarification, Aeration, Top Dressing
