Listening to Children

LISTENING TO CHILDREN

"Berkshire Cricket are committed to listening to the views of all young players"

Berkshire Cricket is committed to encouraging participants in all its activities to provide feedback on their experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from children and young people on how their involvement with Berkshire Cricket can be improved.

The biggest driver of activity for people, and young people in particular, is their level of enjoyment. Berkshire Cricket wants to listen more and encourage children and young people to become involved in influencing the development of the type of cricket experiences they want.

A culture of listening to children and young people not only helps them shape cricketing activities and create more attractive opportunities but in an environment where their views are valued a more effective safeguarding culture is embedded. Young people will be more confident to speak out about any unsafe situations or if they have a concern.

Berkshire Cricket has launched its Listening to Children policy [include link] which sets out how we will look to create a listening culture and consult with children and young people on a range of issues.

If a young person wishes to provide feedback on their experience with any part of Berkshire Cricket they can do so using either the following link below. Feedback can be submitted anonymously.
