Congratulations to Mia Rogers on signing a contract extension with Durham Women until the end of the 2027 season, following her first full-time professional contract with the club in February 2025.
Mia progressed through the Berkshire pathway from Under-10 level, going on to make 56 first-team appearances for the county. Her journey so far has been one that truly demonstrates the hard work, resilience and tenacity required to reach the professional game, and everyone at Berkshire Cricket is immensely proud of her achievements.
Rogers enjoyed a breakthrough opening season in Chester-le-Street. Renowned for her lightning-quick glovework behind the stumps, she claimed six stumpings in the Vitality Blast, including three in a thrilling six-run victory over Somerset at Banks Homes Riverside.
She also made valuable contributions with the bat during the 2025 campaign, recording her maiden professional half-century with an unbeaten 66 in the One Day Cup as Durham secured a six-wicket win over Essex in Chelmsford.
Over the winter, Rogers has continued her development in Australia, representing Geelong in club cricket, where she impressed once again with the bat, scoring three fifties in seven matches for the Victoria-based side.
Everyone at Berkshire Cricket is delighted to see Mia’s continued progression on the professional stage. Her contract extension is a testament to her dedication, talent and to the strength of the Berkshire pathway in developing players capable of succeeding at the highest level.
We look forward to following Mia’s journey and wish her every success as she continues her career in the North East.
