“There are so many different places where you can thrive in a cricket environment.”
That was the message shared by Berkshire Cricket’s Ben Abrahams and Ally Darlow when they recently spoke to That’s TV about the county’s Young Volunteers Programme and the opportunities it offers young people to get involved in the game.
The programme is designed to give young people the chance to develop skills, gain experience, and play an active role in supporting cricket across Berkshire. From helping deliver sessions and supporting community events to assisting clubs and coaches, the programme provides a valuable pathway for young people to build confidence and leadership skills while contributing to the growth of the game.
Speaking about the initiative, Ben and Ally highlighted how volunteering in cricket can open doors to a wide range of opportunities within the sport.
