Role Purpose

To support delivery of the strategic plan across Berkshire that we “We will grow and
strengthen the game, support communities, and inspire talent in Berkshire to reach its
potential” with a dedicated focus on schools cricket and community provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Community Settings through the Chance
to Shine Schools and Street Programmes
• Deliver All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket sessions in school and community settings
• Promote strong links between clubs, local organisations and other strategic partners
• Identify and record individual or group case studies for promotional and M&E purposes
• Be prepared to undertake any other duties related to the work of these functions as required
Experience and Qualifications
• A passion and enthusiasm for working with young people
• An understanding and experience of working within a school, club and or youth sports
environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to travel independently between sites (Full and valid UK driving licence)
• Sports/Cricket Coaching qualification desirable but not essential as full training can be
provided

Job Title: Participation Coach

Reports to: Head of Participation / Schools Cricket Manager

Employment: 24 Hours per week (Working hours between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday)

Salary: £21k-23k p.a pro rata to include 10% Non Contributory Pension and
Healthcare package

giving them the best possible first experiences of cricket.
