🌟 Staff Spotlight: Ben Abrahams – Club and Workforce Lead

Meet Ben Abrahams, Berkshire Cricket’s Club and Workforce Lead, joining the team in May 2025.

About His Role:
Ben drives club and volunteer engagement across Berkshire, strengthening workforce pathways and supporting the growth of club infrastructure. His work helps clubs reach their potential and ensures a thriving cricket community across the county.

What He Loves Most:
“The opportunity to work closely with clubs and, in particular, helping them to grow and reach their potential.”

Off the Field:
Ben opens the batting for Hanham CC in Bristol, known for his very conservative batting style. He also follows football closely and was previously a season ticket holder at Bristol City.

Sporting Hero:
His sporting hero is Jose Mourinho, admired as a master of impression management.

Vision for Cricket:
Ben would like to see overs bowled quicker, with stronger penalties for delays—he’s all about keeping the game moving!

Fun Fact:
Ben was already six foot tall by the end of primary school.
