Playing at Wargrave always provides a special occasion for the squad, with strong local support and a ground that consistently delivers a great atmosphere for county cricket. Berkshire will be aiming to make home advantage count against a competitive Herefordshire side in what promises to be an entertaining contest.

There is also added significance to the fixture as Nilesh Bhandari is set to make his debut in the 50-over competition — and there could hardly be a more fitting venue. Bhandari will take the field for Berkshire at his home ground, marking a proud moment for both the player and the local club. Having impressed with his performances and commitment, Sunday offers an exciting opportunity for him to begin his National counties journey in familiar surroundings.

The Berkshire squad will be looking to produce an all-round performance with both bat and ball, while supporters can expect positive cricket as the hosts aim to put last Sunday’s result behind them.

First ball is scheduled for Sunday morning at 11 am at  Wargrave Cricket Club, with spectators encouraged to come down and support the side.
