Final Free Grounds Workshop This Summer
Berkshire Cricket is calling on grounds staff, volunteers and club officials to take advantage of its final free Grounds Workshop of the summer, taking place at Wellington College on Wednesday 29 July.
With clubs already looking ahead to next season, this practical, hands-on session will provide valuable guidance on the essential end-of-season maintenance work that can make a significant difference to pitch performance in 2027.
Delivered by Berkshire Cricket’s County Pitch Advisors, the workshop will cover key topics including scarification, aeration and top dressing, helping attendees understand how to protect and improve their playing surfaces through the winter months.
Whether you are an experienced grounds person or a volunteer looking to develop your knowledge, the workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts, ask questions and take away practical tips that can be implemented immediately at your club.
Best of all, attendance is completely free.
