Women’s 1st XI in T20 Finals Day action at Arundel Castle

Sunday will see the Women’s 1st XI make the journey to Arundel Castle to take on Staffordshire in the Tier 3 – Division 1 T20 Final. Berkshire finished group winners in the South with 4 wins and 2 losses while Staffordshire finished with the same record as the North group winners. The day presents an opportunity for our young side to try and secure a 2nd title in as many years. The day will also mark a special occasion as Berkshire’s Captain – Izzy Storrar will mark her 50thappearance for the county at only 19 years of age.

Tanvi Ravikumar comes in for the first time this season having missed the early part of the season due to exams. Tanvi made an instant impact on her return to cricket, picking up 3/10 off her four overs to account for the top order against a strong Gunnersbury side in the ECB Women’s Club T20 last weekend. Mary Briscoe also returns post exams who last time out played a key role with bat, ball & in the field to beat Wiltshire in the T20 County Cup. Emma MacEwen, Shayna Chikhlia & Noa Mais all return having missed the last set of fixtures. Meanwhile Finty Trussler is available again on loan from Middlesex.
