Congratulations to Slough CC U13s who won the U13 County Final on Friday evening after a 36-run victory against Henley.
There were some notable performances from the Slough batters Vedant (30) and Vehaan (32), before Henley battled back with some good bowling from Henry (2-21), Josh (1-13) and Harry (1-27). Slough finished on a good total of 141 for 5. In reply Henley got off to a steady start through Avi and Henry but they were pegged back by the bowling of Vivaan (1-10) and Ojas (2-18). Henley then lost wickets on a regular basis, but Josh produced a rear guard to top score with 22. Other notable performers with the ball for Slough include Vedant (2-6) and Gautham (2-11)
Slough will now go on to represent Berkshire in round 2 of the ECB national competition where they will play the Surrey representatives, Esher on Sunday 26th July at Slough.
