Summer Cricket Sessions Start This Week – Last Chance to Sign Up!
Berkshire Cricket’s FREE summer All Stars and Dynamos introduction programmes are getting underway this week, with children across Reading, Slough and Maidenhead being given the chance to discover cricket, make new friends and enjoy being active during the school holidays.
With sessions now starting, this is the last chance for families to secure their free place at one of the many venues running across the county this summer.
The programmes are designed to provide a fun, welcoming and inclusive introduction to cricket, with sessions delivered by Berkshire Cricket’s participation coaching team.
All Stars Cricket is aimed at children aged 5–8, while Dynamos Cricket is for children aged 8–11. No previous cricket experience is required, making the sessions a great opportunity for children to try something new, develop their skills and build confidence in a friendly environment.
Dynamos Intro sessions are taking place throughout the summer holidays at:
- Monday afternoons – Claycots Britwell, Slough
- Tuesday mornings – Furze Platt School, Maidenhead
- Tuesday afternoons – Palmer Park, Reading
- Wednesday mornings – Cintra Park, Reading
- Wednesday afternoons – Slough Singh Sabha Sports Centre
- Thursday mornings – Prospect Park, Reading
- Thursday afternoons – Dedworth Middle School, Maidenhead
- Friday mornings – Salt Hill Park, Slough
- Friday afternoons – Lascelles Park, Slough
All sessions are completely free of charge, and participants will also receive a t-shirt.
Berkshire Cricket is also continuing to support children from diverse communities and areas of deprivation through funded bursary places, helping to remove barriers to participation and ensure cricket is accessible to everyone.
