Cookham Dean – U19 Blast Champions 2026

Congratulations to Cookham Dean on winning the U19 Blast Competition for 2026. 
The Eliminator and Final were both kindly hosted by Cookham Dean which Berkshire Cricket is very grateful for.
In the Eliminator, Cookham Dean faced Slough. After electing to field first, Cookham Dean bowled Slough out for 94 inside 17 overs. All six bowlers took wickets with Josh Duckworth starring with figures of 3-7. Ankur Dalal (32 off just 25 balls) and Sai Dawadi (23) impressed with the bat for Slough. In response, Cookham Dean reached the target with 4 and a half overs remaining, winning by nine wickets. Lashvein Srisankar retiring not out following a fantastic 50, supported by Arush Dumpala (22*).
Theale and Tilehurst awaited Cookham Dean in the final, with Cookham winning by 19 runs. After choosing to bat first this time, the hosts posted 137-3 off 20 overs, with the top three all performing well. Srisankar (33), Dhananjai Singh (44) and Dumpala (33) were central to the competitive target set. In reply, Theale put up a valiant effort in reaching 118/8 with A Balaji (33) and Abdullah Abid (22) the standout performances with the bat. Sashank Sahasranamamula (2-18), Jake Smith (2-20) and Josh Duckworth (2-17) all impressing with the ball for Cookham.

Mixed Boys Finals – Sunday 6th September

The Mixed Boys Finals are set to take place this Sunday. The U11s and U13s Finals are being hosted by Purley on Thames, while the U15s and U17s will be held at Cookham Dean. We appreciate both clubs for their support in hosting.

We would like to thank all of the clubs, teams, volunteers and everyone involved for their patience and support this season.
