Monday June 17th marked the annual MCC Foundation Hub awards evening where teams and coaches from across the country were recognised for their contribution to the programme in 2023/24. 
Nominees and guests were invited to Lords for the presentation event and Berkshire were successful in two categories as Matt Walmsley was presented the Phillip Hodson award which was selected on feedback from parents of children in the programme and Raabia Akhter was awarded coach of the year for her fantastic work with the Slough Girls Hubs across the year. Berkshire cricket would like to congratulate both Matt and Raabia on their respective awards and continued commitment to the MCC Foundation Hub programme which continues to offer free cricket opportunities for girls and boys in state schools across the county.
