The ECB’s County Grant Fund has been running since 2021. The fund is designed to support clubs; create welcoming environments, provide enhanced facilities & playing opportunities and tackle climate change. The fund is managed on a local level by Berkshire Cricket with the county board receiving a budget each year to support eligible projects.
As of October 2024, Berkshire Cricket has distributed on behalf of the ECB £300,000 worth of grant funding to support projects in the county. Through the County Grant Funds and additional partnership funding from clubs, £690,000 has been invested in facilities across 42 projects in 3.5 years.
With the County Grant Fund returning in 2025, now is the time for clubs to start thinking about projects for 2025. Below you will find three case studies for successful projects from across the county.
