The Women’s 1st XI play host to the Southern Vipers Academy in a pre-season friendly on Sunday 13th April at Reading CC. The fixture will be a great opportunity for the team to test themselves against a strong opposition ahead of our campaign in the new Tier 3 structure. The fixture will be a 50 over contest starting at 11am. 2025 will see a new look squad with 8 players from last year’s team having signed Tier 1 professional contracts or playing Tier 2 cricket this year.
With Captain – Ash Muttitt unavailable, our newly appointed Vice Captain Izzy Storrar will lead the senior side for the first time. The team will also be joined this week with guest appearances from Hampshire’s Poppy Tulloch & Ava Lee. Having both been part of Berkshire’s pathway, both players have now gone on to sign professional contracts with Hampshire and will be once again in the Berkshire green!
