Safe Hands Courses for Club Safeguarding Officers, taking place during the 2025/26 closed season are live now.
These essential workshops are designed to equip new and existing Club Safeguarding Officers with the knowledge and confidence to create safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments for all young people involved in cricket.

Course Objectives
The Safe Hands course provides vital learning for all Club Safeguarding Officers, focusing on:

Understanding the role and responsibilities of a Club Safeguarding Officer

Working effectively with others to create a safe and welcoming club environment

Ensuring the right policies and procedures are in place
-
Knowing how to respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns
Maintaining Your Qualification
Club Safeguarding Officers must complete a Safe Hands course upon appointment and renew it every three years to remain qualified.
In addition, each officer must also complete the Safeguarding for Specialist Roles โ Committee Members online training and hold a valid DBS certificate.
