The Women’s 1st XI will play host to local rivals Oxfordshire this Sunday in the final round of the Tier 3, T20 competition. On the adjacent pitch, our U14s will also take on Oxfordshire in the 1st round of the 40 over knockout cup. Sunday also marks 20 days to go in our countdown to the Women’s World Cup. Sunday is shaping up to be a very exciting final day of the season with all still to play for in a very tight group. Berkshire go into the game in 2nd place knowing 2 wins, could see us clinch top spot and a finals day trip, if results elsewhere go our way. We also know that 1 win is required to ensure we remain in Division 1 next season.
We’d love to see you down at Sulhamstead & Ufton CC to watch some fantastic cricket this Sunday and create a great atmosphere for both games. The action is due to start at 11am with the 2nd game due to start between 2:30pm & 3pm.
Eliza Bristowe Signs Pro Contract
Everyone at Berkshire Cricket would like to congratulate Eliza Bristowe on signing her first professional contract with Hampshire.
Eliza joined Berkshire Women’s Tier 3 programme ahead of the 2025 summer on loan from the Vipers Academy. Eliza played 8 times in our Tier 3 title winning season including the 50 over final. She averaged 33 with the bat including a crucial 50 in the 1st round of the County Cup vs Cornwall as well as picking up 5 wickets. This winter, Eliza was part of the England U19s squad that toured Australia during March/April before signing a contract with Hampshire.
We wish Eliza all the best with her summer with Hampshire and look forward to having her as part of our squad this summer when playing commitments allow.
