Nominations Open for 2026 Cricket Collective Awards

Berkshire Cricket Launches 2026 Cricket Collective Awards

Berkshire Cricket is delighted to officially launch the 2026 Cricket Collective Awards, celebrating the volunteers, coaches, clubs and community champions who make cricket happen across the county.

The Cricket Collective Awards are the ECB’s annual recognition programme dedicated to honouring the outstanding individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to grow and support the recreational game. From inspiring coaches and grounds teams to volunteers creating welcoming environments and driving participation, the awards shine a spotlight on the people at the heart of cricket in Berkshire.

The launch follows another hugely successful awards programme in 2025, which saw a record number of nominations received from across the county and recognised an incredible range of contributions from volunteers in clubs, schools and communities throughout Berkshire.

Berkshire Cricket CEO Mark Roche said:

“The Cricket Collective Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the people who give so much of their time, energy and passion to our game. Cricket simply would not exist without volunteers, and every year we are inspired by the stories of those making a real difference in their clubs and communities across Berkshire. We encourage everyone involved in cricket to take the time to nominate someone deserving for a 2026 award.”

The 2026 awards will once again recognise achievements across a range of categories including coaching, youth development, growing the women and girls’ game, innovation, community engagement, volunteering and lifetime achievement.

Award winners will receive county recognition and will be invited to attend a special celebration event at the Utilita Bowl on 24 September, where they will watch Hampshire take on Sussex. Winners will also be considered for the national ECB Cricket Collective Awards.

Berkshire Cricket is encouraging clubs, leagues, schools, officials, volunteers and players to submit nominations and help ensure the outstanding contributions taking place across the county are recognised and celebrated.

Nominations for the 2026 Cricket Collective Awards are now open.

Together, let’s celebrate the people who make cricket thrive in Berkshire.
