Under 11’s – Bracknell United

A hard-fought final saw Bracknell United emerge victorious in the U11s final. Aasim Mohammad top scored with 22 opening the batting in the Bracknell innings, while Arthur Good and Innes McVie both took two wickets each for Goring. In reply, Freddie Blackwell scored a superb 36 from just 42 balls, although it was not enough due to the fine bowling of James Cormack (3-12) and Eden Q (2:14). Aasim Mohammad was equally impressive with the ball with figures of 2-10. SCORECARD

 

Under 13’s Maidenhead & Bray

The U13s final was a thrilling contest with Maidenhead & Bray narrowly coming out on top. Wargrave, having been put into bat posted a strong 156 with Advik Gupta and Hardik Dhallam top scoring with 30 and 34 respectively. An impressive knock of 24 from 9 balls from Freddie Tabrah helped Wargrave post a very challenging total. Max Brown was the pick of the Maidenhead bowlers with 1-11 off 3 overs. The reply from Maidenhead got off to the worse possible start with Wargrave openers both out for golden ducks. Freddie Morris and William Hargreaves helped rebuild the innings with 24 and 30 respectively. Hardik Dhallam impressed with the ball with figures of 1-8 off 3 overs. Mohammed Nalwala scored an outstanding 44 from 21 balls to cap a memorable final. SCORECARD

 

Under 15’s Crown Taverners

Crown Taverners completed a convincing U15s final win against Finchampstead. After choosing to field first, Alexander Hoare Nairne starred with the ball with 3-13 off 3 overs. Equally impressive, was Hayyan Zahoor (2-10). Isaac Neville top scored for Finchampstead with 23. In response Liam Amy took two early wickets to restrict Crown Taverners to 26-2. Oliver Pickup and Sankalp Kumar put on a 60-run partnership to get Crown Taverners over the line and earn a deserved final triumph. SCORECARD
A massive thanks as well to Sulhamstead & Ufton CC on hosting the finals, with particular praise for Keith Briggs and his team of volunteers on their hard work in preparing the ground and facilities. The final Under 17 final is scheduled for Saturday the 20th of September with Theale & Tilehurst facing Kidmore End.
