🌟 Staff Spotlight: Ally Darlow – Schools Cricket Manager

Introducing Ally Darlow, our Schools Cricket Manager, who has been energising cricket in Berkshire since 17 July 2023.

About His Role:
Ally splits his time between visiting primary schools to deliver cricket lessons and coordinating with schools from the Berkshire Cricket offices to book as many cricket activities as possible for our team of community coaches. He ensures children across the county have the opportunity to experience the joy of cricket first-hand.

What He Loves Most:
“I love working with such a fun and dynamic team. It’s also great that no two days are the same.”

Off the Field:
Ally used to play cricket regularly until 2023, but she still enjoys sports—she’s an avid Tottenham Hotspur fan, has recently started attending Reading FC games, and follows the Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

Sporting Hero:
His sporting hero is Harry Kane, admired for maximising every ounce of talent (and of course, Spurs!).

Vision for Cricket:
Ally jokingly says he’d ban all left-handers—“go and play your own game!”

Fun Fact:
Ally can neck a pint of Guinness without using his hands.
