ECB Support Coach Course Coming to Local Cricket Clubs

Cricket clubs across the county are being encouraged to get involved with the ECB Support Coach programme – a fantastic opportunity to develop volunteers and enhance player experience.

The ECB Support Coach course is designed to provide learners aged 16 and over with the knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches during cricket sessions. While Support Coaches do not lead sessions independently, they play a vital role in creating safe, engaging and enjoyable environments for players. – FIND FULL DETAILS BY CLICKING HERE

The programme includes two short online learning modules and one three-hour face-to-face session. Key topics include supporting batting, bowling and fielding, effective communication, player welfare, safeguarding, safety and differentiation.

Clubs in Berkshire can host this course free of charge, making it an excellent opportunity to upskill parents, volunteers, young leaders and aspiring coaches.
