Berkshire Cricket Launches Free Summer All Stars and Dynamos Programmes
Berkshire Cricket is delighted to announce the return of its popular All Stars and Dynamos summer introduction programmes, kicking off on the first days of the school summer holidays.
More than 450 children attended these sessions last year lead and delivered by Berkshire Cricket’s participation coaching team, the sessions are designed to introduce young people to cricket in a fun and inclusive environment, the programmes are open to children aged 5–8 (All Stars) and 9–11 (Dynamos), with sessions hosted at six venues:
- Prospect Park, Palmer Park and Reading School (Reading)
- Salt Hill Park and Slough Singh Sabha (Slough)
- Furze Platt Leisure Centre (Maidenhead)
All sessions are completely free of charge, with bursary places specifically reserved for children living in deprived areas and diverse communities, helping to remove barriers to participation and ensure the game is accessible to all.
This programme is further strengthened by a landmark partnership with Toyota, the first official partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board’s All Stars Cricket initiative. Toyota has committed £800,000 over four years to fund thousands of bursary places annually.
Ally Darlow who leads on the programme for Berkshire said:
“We want 2026 to be our most inclusive summer yet. These programmes are about more than just cricket – they’re about giving every child the chance to be active, build confidence and feel part of something. Thanks to the continued support around bursary places, we’re especially encouraging families from diverse backgrounds and those who may not otherwise have access to sporting opportunities to get involved. There’s a place here for everyone, and we’d love to see even more new faces this summer.”
Places for the summer sessions are still available, and families are encouraged to sign up via the Berkshire Cricket website. Participants must use the bursary code provided to access free places. – CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE AND SIGN UP NOW
