The final ECB Foundation Coach course in Berkshire for 2026 is now open for registration, offering aspiring coaches the opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to lead cricket sessions independently.
Coaching is one of the most rewarding roles in the game, helping players develop, enjoy cricket and reach their potential. The ECB Foundation Coach programme has been designed specifically for people beginning their coaching journey, providing a blend of online learning and face-to-face training delivered by ECB Coach Developers.
Through the course, learners will explore what effective coaching looks like, the positive impact coaches can have on players, and how to create sessions that are active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe.
On successful completion, coaches will be qualified to lead cricket coaching sessions independently and become part of the ECB coaching community supporting players at every stage of their development.

Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm each day
With all previous 2026 Foundation Coach courses now fully booked, this is the final opportunity this year to gain the qualification that is now the entry-level requirement for coaching cricket.
