Men’s 1st XI Head to Bedfordshire in T20

Match Preview: Berkshire Face Bedfordshire in Top-of-the-Table T20 Showdown

Berkshire head to Luton Town Indians CC on Sunday for a blockbuster National Counties T20 double-header against Bedfordshire, with top spot in the group on the line in the final round of fixtures.

Having enjoyed an impressive group campaign, Berkshire have put themselves in a strong position through consistent performances with both bat and ball. Sunday’s matches provide the toughest test yet as they take on a Bedfordshire side that has also impressed throughout the competition.

With knockout cricket just around the corner, both teams will be eager to build momentum and claim first place in the group. Two closely fought contests are expected as Berkshire look to continue their excellent form away from home.

Berkshire captain Johnny Connell is relishing the challenge ahead.

“We’ve put ourselves in a good position through some really strong performances, but we know there’s still work to do. Bedfordshire are an excellent side and they’ll be tough to beat on their own ground. These are the games you want to play in, with plenty at stake, and the squad is looking forward to the challenge. If we play our cricket, stay disciplined and take our chances, we’re confident we can finish the group stage on top”
