Berkshire Cricket is encouraging coaches, volunteers, young people and club members to make the most of a range of development opportunities available this summer.

From coaching qualifications and first aid training to ground support and leadership programmes, these courses are designed to support the continued growth of cricket across the county and provide valuable skills for everyone involved in the game.

The summer opportunities include:

  • ECB Foundation Coach (Level 1) – Take Your First Step into Coaching
    The ECB Foundation Coach programme is a great introduction for anyone looking to begin their coaching journey. The course helps participants develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to deliver fun, safe and effective cricket sessions, supporting new coaches as they get started within the game.

  • Metro Bank ECB Core Coach – Support the Growth of Girls’ Cricket
    The Metro Bank ECB Core Coach programme is designed for coaches looking to develop their skills and create positive experiences for girls taking part in cricket.
