Since of the start of the County Grants Fund in 2021, the Berkshire Cricket Foundation has supported 53 projects different club projects with a combined value of over £800,000.
At the end of the 2025 funding cycle, club projects totalled £828,000, which included over £374,000 in ECB County Grants Fund money with just over £450,000 of partnership funding coming from clubs or other funding sources.
29 affiliated clubs in Berkshire have benefitted from at least one grant in the five years since the ECB County Grants Fund opened with a strong showing across the project themes:
- Providing Enhanced Facilities or Playing Opportunities – 19 projects
- Creating Welcoming Environments – 23 projects
- Tacking Climate Change – 11 project

Club projects have included the following:
- Replacement of a two-lane net facility
- Full digital solution – covering live streaming, electronic scoring and scoreboard.
- Installation of solar panels on clubhouse roof with battery storage to reduce carbon footprint.
- New cubicle system to provide private shower space for all players.
- Replace single glazed windows with doubled glazed to reduce heating costs
- Improvements to the irrigation to reduce impact of a drought
- Purchase of environmentally friendly wicket mowers.
- Refurbishments of Women and Girls changing rooms

The ECB County Grants Fund will return in 2026, with more details to be communicated before the end of the year.
In Berkshire, two application windows are open for clubs to apply during the calendar year:
From February – Allows clubs to complete projects before the season starts or during the season
From August / September – Allows clubs to conduct more disruptive tasks outside of the playing season
