Local cricket grounds expertise was showcased on BBC Radio Berkshire this morning, as Arun Oram, one of our accredited Cricket Pitch Advisors (CPAs), joined Rich Clarke on the station’s breakfast show.
Speaking shortly after 7:15am, Arun discussed key topics around cricket pitch preparation, maintenance, and best practice for grassroots clubs ahead of the new season.
With many clubs currently preparing their grounds for play, the interview provided practical advice for groundskeepers and volunteers, helping to ensure pitches are safe, high-quality, and ready for the demands of the season.
The appearance highlighted the importance of expert guidance at community level and reinforced the role CPAs play in supporting clubs across the region.
