Girls Berkshire Youth Cricket League Forum
On Wednesday 10th December, we hosted the Girls Berkshire Youth Cricket League Club Forum, bringing together 23 girls’ youth representatives from clubs across Berkshire.
The forum provided an opportunity to discuss plans for the 2026 season and take part in an interactive workshop focused on shaping the future of the league. Through a range of activities led by our Women and Girls Development Officer, key themes were identified around how we can continue to strengthen and improve the league.
Discussions covered topics such as growing girls’ teams, working more collaboratively across clubs, and ensuring teams and volunteers are well supported. These open and constructive conversations are vital in helping to build a strong, connected community that supports and develops girls’ cricket throughout Berkshire.
We would like to thank all the clubs who attended, as well as the youth committees who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure girls have the opportunities and support they need to thrive in the game.
A special thank you also goes to Boyne Hill CC for hosting the forum.
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we look forward to an exciting 2026 season.
