Having secured a cup win against Wiltshire a fortnight ago, the Women’s 1st XI return to league action this weekend against familiar opponents.

The Women’s 1st XI make a 2nd of three trips to neighbours Wiltshire on Sunday. This time in league T20 action at Westbury & District CC. Last time out against Wiltshire saw us pick up two T20 wins, one in the Vitality T20 County Cup followed by a win in the friendly. Berkshire go into the group sat top of the top after the first match week thanks to two wins in Devon. Wiltshire sit 2nd having won one, lost one vs Oxfordshire in April.

Four players come into the squad from last time out vs Wiltshire. Iqraa Hussain returns to the side accompanied by Middlesex loanees Hannah Francis & Lauren Turner. Lauren has previously been capped for our Women’s 1st XI having progressed through our pathway before making the move to Middlesex.
The fourth player added to our squad for Sunday will see one of our pathway cricketers make her 1st XI debut with keeper-batter, Livia Sharma named in the squad. Livia is currently an U14 and has spent her first season on the Vipers EPP having graduated out of our highly successful Extra Provision Group programme.
